Our Doctrine

We Believe:

1. In the verbal and plenary inspiration of the original manuscripts of both the Old and the New Testaments; that the Bible, therefore, in its entirety, is the Word of God without error, having been produced by the Holy Spirit. II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:19-21

2. In the Trinity of the Godhead; namely one God, eternally existing in three equal Persons: God the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Exodus 20:1, 2; Matthew 3:13-17

3. In the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection; His personal, imminent return for His own, and His premillennial coming. I Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 10:30; Luke 1:35; Romans 5:8; I Corinthians 15:4; Acts 1:11

4. In the personality of the Holy Spirit, by whom Believers are called, regenerated baptized into Christ indwelt, sealed, and filled for service. John 14:16, 17; Ephesians 1:13, 14

5. That man came Into being by direct creation of God and not by any process of evolution. We accept without reservation the Genesis account of man’s creation, as well as other statements in Scripture concerning the origin of the universe. Genesis 1 & 2; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16, 17

6. In the Fall, total depravity and guilt of the race In Adam which, for man’s salvation, necessitates God’s sovereign deliverance of the sinner by His Grace in Jesus Christ Romans 3:10-12; Titus 2:11

7. In the eternal salvation of all persons whose faith is in the finished work of Calvary; that the shed Blood of Jesus Christ is essential to the redemption of mankind. John 10:28; Ephesians 1:7

8. In the church Universal which, in this age, is made up of all those who have been born again by the Spirit of God: That this is the mystical Body of Christ Ephesians 122, 23

9. That the local Church is a company of baptized believers, independent, self-governing, and having the two scriptural offices of Pastor and deacons; that it should fellowship with other Church of like precious faith; that the Church shall meet to worship God and to observe the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper; that it shall edify Itself by feeding on the Word of God and shall seek to evangelize the world in accordance with the commands of Scripture. Acts 2:41, 42; Matthew 28:19, 20; Romans 1: 14-16

10. That God’s Word clearly enjoins us to separate entirely from worldliness and ecclesiastical apostasy. II Corinthians 6:14-18; Titus 2:11-14

11. In the personal existence of Satan, demons, and angels. Matthew 4:1-3; Matthew 4:11; Luke 11:14-23

12. In the bodily resurrection, immortality and Imminent rapture of all Believers when Christ comes in the air for His own. I Thessalonians 4;13-18

13. In God’s selection of Israel as His chosen people, that she is now scattered because of her rejection of the Messiah, and that she will be regathered in the Promised Land and saved as a nation when Jesus Christ comes again to the earth to reign as King upon the throne of David. Deuteronomy 7:6; Ezekiel; 36:24-38

14. In the bodily resurrection and judgment of unbelievers after the thousand year reign of Christ. John 5:28, 29; Revelation 20:12

15. That believers shall enjoy eternity in Heaven and that unbelievers shall suffer never-ending punishment in Hell. John 3:16-18; Luke 16:19-31
